Went for Chemo today. It was a long process. It started by them not being able to get an accurate blood pressure reading. After four times they finally got it. Then they sent me for blood. They tried to get it though the port, but that did not work. So they tried my veins and even that was trouble. My body was just not cooperating. The nurse had to pull it out of me with a syringe.
Than everything got better. My white counts were good and the Chemo went fine. I sat there freezing and eating my Italian ice. They say that should help me not get those nasty mouth soars.
I also picked the wrong chair when I got there because apparently the man next to me was deaf. His TV was so loud I couldn't hear my TV. I thought I was at my parents house. Thank God I had my ipod and a blanket.
So over all it was good. I took my three anti nausea drugs, plus the one in the IV and now I am wasted. I did not nap today so I am exhausted! More updates to come....
